CactusComply Demo & Onboarding

FOR ARIZONA BUSINESSES • CACTUSCOMPLY

See your Arizona TPT return get filed for you

Transaction Privilege Tax is due every month, splits across state, county and city, and changes by location code and business code. CactusComply takes your sales data, works out what is taxable where, builds the return, and files it. Watch the demo, then onboard in roughly five to ten minutes.

Why one return takes a whole evening

A single Arizona receipt can carry three layers of tax at once – state, county, and city – and the right rate depends on the location code you are selling from and the business code you are selling under. Food sold for home consumption at a grocery store is taxed nothing like the same food sold at a restaurant. Add a second location, or a second sales channel, and the arithmetic multiplies. Doing that by hand every month is exactly where honest operators get it wrong.

What the demo shows you

Four moves, start to finish. This is the same path you will walk in your own account on your own numbers.

CactusComply in four steps: bring in sales data, classify what is taxable, review the return, file with Arizona1Bring in salesCSV, POS exportor bank feed2Classifytaxable, deductibleor excluded3Reviewrates and deductionsper location4FileTPT-2 with aconfirmation on file

It knows your rates

Rates are looked up per jurisdiction and per business code, for each of your locations – including the cases where a city taxes a category the state does not, and where a deduction is the correct answer instead of a different code. You are not maintaining a rate spreadsheet.

It shows its work

Transactions are marked as an Arizona taxable sale, a deduction against a specific deduction code, or excluded – and you can see why. Nothing lands on the return that you cannot trace back to the line it came from.

You can just ask it

There is an Ask AI panel over your own filings and your own data – “why is this line deducted,” “what changed since last month,” “what did we file for Mesa in June.” Your data stays walled off from every other business on the platform.

Onboarding is six short steps

No implementation project, no consultant. You tell us who you are, where you sell, how you sell, and how often you file – then you review it and you are done. Most businesses finish in five to ten minutes with their AZDOR license in hand.

What it costs

Less than one hour of an accountant’s time, every month, for a return that files itself.

Built for the businesses that get TPT wrong most

Grocery & convenience

Food for home consumption is the single most misfiled category in Arizona. We route it correctly for your city – whether that means a separate code or a deduction. See the 062 vs 017 breakdown.

Restaurants & bars

Multiple locations across different cities, tips and service charges mixed into gross sales, and a monthly deadline that lands in the middle of service. The return stops being your problem.

Food trucks & mobile vendors

You change jurisdictions by the week, which means your location code changes with you. See how location codes work for mobile vendors.

Retail & multi-channel

In-store, online, and marketplace sales rarely belong on the same line of a return. We keep the channels straight so the gross, the deductions and the taxable base all reconcile.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get started?

Onboarding is six steps and usually takes five to ten minutes. Have your AZDOR TPT license number and your location addresses ready; everything else you can adjust later.

Do I have to change my POS or accounting system?

No. You bring sales in the way that suits you – a CSV, a POS export, or a bank feed – and keep the systems you already run. Nothing has to be ripped out for this to work.

Does it file with Arizona, or just prepare the return?

It files. CactusComply is an AZDOR-approved eFile transmitter – approved by the Arizona Department of Revenue in April 2026 – so the complete TPT-2, including Schedule A deduction detail, is transmitted electronically and comes back with a real AZDOR confirmation number. Returns have been filed and accepted this way on live licenses. If you would rather file under your own AZTaxes.gov login instead, the app generates the file and walks you through the portal upload; either way we never ask for your AZTaxes password, because delegate authorization is AZDOR’s own transmitter model.

Every submitted return and its confirmation number is kept on file against the period, so an amended return or an audit question starts from a record rather than a memory.

What about back periods I never filed?

Those can be caught up. It is the most common reason people call rather than sign up directly, and it is worth a short conversation – book a call and we will scope it honestly.

Is my data shared with other businesses?

No. Tenant isolation is one of the patent-pending parts of the platform: retrieval is scoped to your own organization, so the AI answering your questions can only see your data. See the patents.

Can I refer other businesses?

Yes, and you get paid for it. Half of each referred subscription for their first two months, plus annual volume bonuses – see the partner program.

Watch it once, then never file by hand again

The demo takes a few minutes. Onboarding takes under ten. The next return takes you almost none.
