Introducing the CactusQuant Systematic Fund

A fund we back with our own capital

We’re introducing the CactusQuant Systematic Fund – and choosing to lead with an honest, live-only track record instead of a headline return.

Today we’re opening up something we’ve been building quietly: the CactusQuant Systematic Fund, a private systematic fund managed by Osonwanne Group LLC. It is the investing counterpart to CactusQuant, our patent-pending, safety-gated AI trading system – and it trades with our own capital, on the same research anyone can browse on the platform.

If you invest, or you just care about how a systematic strategy should actually be run, this post explains what the fund is, what drives it, and why we made the unusual choice to lead with honesty instead of a return number.

Research first, capital last

Most funds start with capital and go looking for an edge. We do it the other way around. A strategy earns real money only after it survives every gate: it is built and tested on canonical, cost-modeled simulators, proven strictly out-of-sample against a buy-and-hold baseline, run against live market data with no money at stake, and only then handed real capital – inside hard risk limits, with a kill switch above everything.

What we trade – and what drives it

The fund runs several strategy sleeves: the options Wheel, intraday signals, multi-leg options combos, and reinforcement-learning policies, with multi-asset and futures sleeves on the roadmap, walking the same gates. They are driven by 3 Green / Red Arrows signals, the Turtle Trade Channel indicators, and Opinion trends – signals you can name, fused into a single conviction score and gated before any capital is committed. Nothing in the fund is a black box; the research behind every sleeve is browsable on the platform.

The part we’re proud of: it improves itself, safely

At the core is a patent-pending recursive self-improvement flywheel (U.S. Provisional App. No. 64/098,125). Every trade’s realized, commission-net outcome becomes the evidence that tunes the next settings and retrains the next policy – measured on a combined live + shadow cohort. A monotone-safety gate lets the system make itself safer on its own, while anything that would raise risk waits for a human to approve it, and every change is logged and reversible.

Why we lead with honesty, not a return number

Here is the part most funds won’t say out loud: we are not showing you a return, because there isn’t a live one to show yet. The fund is in its paper-validation phase. Its live track record publishes from the first live trading day at cactusquant.com/fund – marked daily as NAV per unit, time-weighted so deposits and withdrawals can’t flatter it, and never restated. We deliberately chose that honest, live-only basis over a flattering backtest curve.

If a number ever appears on that page, real money made or lost it. That is the whole point.
